Our ACT tutoring sessions prepare students to successfully complete the ACT by providing skill review, time management, and testing strategies. We offer both one-on-one and group ACT tutoring sessions.

Frequently asked questions about ACT tutoring

How much is one-on-one ACT tutoring?


One-on-one ACT tutoring can run between $80 - $100 an hour. However, our one-on-one ACT tutoring is only $30 an hour! If you would like to arrange payment options, please let us know. We want you to get the tutoring you need, so we will happily work with any budget!




How long are the one-on-one tutoring sessions?


While you determine how long you would like each tutoring session to be and how many tutoring sessions you receive, we recommend 2 - 3 hours for each session and a minimum of four (4) sessions to receive the full benefits of tutoring.




What do I need to bring to the tutoring sessions?


We provide all of the materials, including a pencil and folder. We do not provide calculators. If you think you will use a calculator on the ACT, bring that calculator with you to the tutoring sessions.




How soon can I start ACT tutoring?


As soon as you want! We start ACT tutoring as early as 8th grade!




What does the one-on-one ACT tutoring consist of?


In addition personalized tutoring sessions, you will also receive:

  • 1-4 hours of homework weekly
  • practice ACT questions
  • practice ACT tests

Should I take the essay part of the ACT and do you offer tutoring for the essay?


Whether or not you take the ACT writing test largely depends on the school you want to attend. We absolutely offer tutoring for the ACT writing test.
